However,I see you don't talk about their lyrics, only about their music, the melodies etc., so I suppose you don't understand Japanese. No offense meant! If so, I strongly urge you to look for translations of their songs in English. A good site is http://www.utau-inu.com they have quite high quality translations, because the translators are a pair of native speakers of English and Japanese. I recommend you look at the translations because BUMP's music is 10 times more meaningful when you know their lyrics. And they are widely acclaimed in Japan for their lyrics. Which are very poetic and often tell a complete story, like the song K which is a heart wrenching story about a mistreated black cat, or the song Laughmaker, about a hikikomori (maybe?) and the self professed laughmaker who declares he will take the hikikomori out of his confinement! I think all of their lyrics are good and that FUJIWARA (BUMP vocalist and songwriter) has incredible talent for writing lyrics. Even tough I can understand a little Japanese (enough to understand most BUMP OF CHICKEN songs) I only realised how great this band is when I paid attention to the lyrics when I listened to them. Songs K, Laughmaker, Guild, and supernova opened my eyes to the brilliance of their lyrics. Looking closely at their lyrics will decuple your enjoyment of their music! You start by typing bump of chicken english in youtube, there are a few videos with translations including K and Laughmaker. Yes, I am a BUMP maniac lol.
